It’s Friday…Again! And I’ve pulled together my next Friday Fab Five: five favorite things to give you some weekend (and beyond) inspiration. This week the kids are wrapping up school, I finished four huge custom orders (which means I am officially back in the kitchen, yay!) and I found the cutest new jumpsuit. You know me… I love a good jumpsuit. ALSO, did you see the Ukrainians won the Eurovision Song Contest? but I’m getting ahead of myself.

1. Color
Lets talk about my top three tried-and-true colors today. The first is my favorite baby pink. It’s not secret — one drop of Burnt Umber can make any baby shower blush pink. Two weeks ago we turned our favorite Peach into a beautiful eucalyptus just by adding a drop of blue. Try it! (PS. we love the blue and the peach on their own) So there are my picks for this week. If you need our macaron recipe to try, grab it here and start playing with colors.

2. Fashion Finds
I’ve been submerged into the world of jumpsuits, and one of my top picks this weekend has to be a nod to the jumpsuits I’ve literally been living in. This hot shot onesie is the ultimate comfort outfit. Just ask both of my daughters. Yes, BOTH of them have been stealing them from my closet. The next is this sweet summer dress that I’ve got big plans for this summer. Last, you know me and the blue blocker glasses. (Did I really say glasses made the list, yes, yes I did.)

3. Media
Three best time-killers this week:
Book–It’s a classic, well, maybe not a classic, but one of my old time favorites that I picked up this week. We all know the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, Have you read their love story? Ah-mazing. Seriously, cutest couple around. The book is Called Black Heels to Tractor Wheels go read it!
Podcast–Comments by Celebs. (Pick any podcast, all are hilarious!) I am not sure if I love this for all the latest celebrity Pete and Kim gossip or for the fact that I love the way Emma and Julia talk about it all. (Caution: some language.)
Movie–Another classic that I literally can rewatch over and over and over again… Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. If you are a Emily Blunt fan, this one is for you. if you are looking for a free streaming show Inventing Anna on Netflix. You probably know about this–it has the girl with the famous audio clip, “I do not have time for this I do not have time for you!” Anyways- go watch it! It has nine episodes and is so good.

4. In the Kitchen
I cooked all week I know, *audible gasp.* So this weekend we are grilling. The weather finally decided to head out of the third-time-around-winter mentality, so grilling here we come. Have you ever made Steak Fajitas on the grill? One word: YUM. I also was in a Popeye’s Chicken sandwich type of mood, so we are cooking these up on Saturday. Here’s my absolute favorite pizza recipe on the planet. (Spoiler alert, they put seasonings on top of the pizza before baking) Enjoy!
5. What’s on the Blog
This Friday Fab Five, of course! We also have our simple blueprint to multi-colored macarons, and I know you’ll want to take a look at our very first blog post, titled: For a Great Macaron, Just Begin. We have new recipe hitting the blog next week! I hope you are loving these “Friday Fab Fives.” I wanted to try and reach out to you all, to share recipes, colors, media and get your weekend off to a great start!
I want to hear from you: a comment or review!
